Glasgow
Club: Craig Charles’ Funk & Soul Show
Venue: Old Fruitmarket
Date: Friday 1st July
Ok, usually wouldn’t have an event like this in here – but I was a long-time childhood fan of Red Dwarf, felt very disappointed when he took a role in Coronation Street, and then he redeemed his waster credibility by confessing to taking crack while driving on the motorway to work. This is all in the past, however, and Craig Charles dips into his DJ guise as a long time funk and soul fan for the Glasgow International Jazz Festival 2011, and quite frankly his previous behaviour is just a stag weekend for some Scots. Featuring a live set by the Federation of the Disco Pimp, it’s all interesting music from interesting people!
